For years now, as much as I love praying the Holy Rosary, I often wondered if there was a prayer that used Our Fathers as the focus. I would browse the web from time to time to only find unreliable sources and unapproved prayers. Well recently after a renewed focus on our family’s catechesis, I happened to search one more time.
Lo and behold, I found the Crown of Our Lord by Blessed Michael. It has Papal approval, indulgences and created by a man who’s holiness is undeniable, based on what I have read. I guess it is all in God’s timing, because I searched these same terms before. I am glad that others who found (see resources) the prayer, were thoughtful enough to share.
And now I want to do the same. Since I used to build and host websites for a living, it is easy for me. I figured I could compile the information and make it more accessible, in an easy, simple to use format. The other sites are on Google’s or Weebly’s platform and sometimes “free” sites can disappear after awhile due to no use or they cancel their account.
Special thanks to Shad Gallaway, whose search for this prayer (found his comments online!), friendly information exchange and Short Form Prayer help; kept this project moving. Lastly, a big thank you to the Camaldolose Monks, who have preserved this prayer through out the generations.
